Title: Executive Director

Gorilla Doctor Since: 2026

Favorite Part of the Job: My favorite part of the job is helping to build strong, collaborative teams. When people support one another, achieve meaningful conservation impact, and genuinely enjoy the work they do together–that’s when the magic happens.

Vision for the Future of Eastern Gorilla Conservation: I hope for a future where eastern gorilla populations are thriving and lasting peace allows both people and wildlife to flourish. I also hope that the work of Gorilla Doctors—treating sick gorillas, preventing disease, strengthening veterinary expertise, and fostering collaboration—continues to provide vital lessons that guide conservation, safeguarding gorillas, ecosystems, and the communities that depend on them.

Favorite Animal/s (besides gorillas of course): Chimpanzees–because their behavior is fascinating, Dogs–because they are devoted friends, Macaws–because watching them fly evokes pure joy.
