Favorite Part of the Job: I feel very comfortable when I am in the forest with the gorillas, I always come back satisfied and therefore want to stay with them for a long time.
Memorable Moment: Seeing the Grauer’s gorilla baby of Ndekesiri for the first time remains the best moment in my work. Seeing the females from the GRACE sanctuary transition to the wild without problems gives me a lot of joy and hope for the conservation of eastern lowland gorillas (although I will not forget the stress I had the day of the transfer).
Favorite Animal/s (besides gorillas of course): I generally prefer great apes because they have strong emotions that I always share when I’m with them. They are fascinating animals, just by looking into their eyes you feel their feelings of joy or sadness.
