Title: Global Projects Operations Manager
Gorilla Doctor Since: 2025
Motivation for Joining the Team: I had the pleasure of working with the Gorilla Doctors team on the PREDICT project for 11 years and was always impressed and inspired by their dedicated staff, scientists, and commitment to the mission and One Health approach.
Most Proud of: I had the pleasure of leading One Health-driven research, capacity strengthening, and development projects from 2009-2025 (PREDICT, One Health Workforce-Next Generation, etc.) that have trained over 75,000 individuals, strengthened biosafety and lab capacity, and led to the discoveries and risk rankings of thousands of new viruses helping build the knowledge base for conservation and strengthen global health security.
Favorite Animal/s: Raccoons. Those little punks are so spicy and can literally do anything. I also have a love/hate relationship with rats, which will outlive humanity and probably colonize Mars.
